Bands are some of my favorite photography clients!  I love shooting LIVE gigs as well as staged photos for album covers and marketing purposes. I grew up with a brother who was always in a band, and still is.  So I understand the importance of great self-marketing and the need for fresh material and photos.

Layers and textures are great when picking outfits for these types of shoots! It's not as important to coordinate outfit colors for the photo (depending on the genre), as variation in clothing helps to set apart personalities. However, in my opinion it is very important to have candid or even LIVE photos. If you have suggested venues, events, or gigs you would like me to photograph live, please book them plenty of time in advance if possible.

 

If it is not a live event, please remember your instruments. We will use several different photo locations unless it is a live event. This will give you plenty of options for your final edited shots! If there is something in particular you're planning on using these photos for, be it album covers or just social media, please advise me so that I can appropriately fulfill your needs. And yes....hats are okay! :)
